Well. As you can see, I kind of missed the second half of that August challenge. I started writing one of them, and it evolved well beyond the length of my usual entries. As in, I might be sitting on the first (or possibly third) chapter of a full-length novel here. This never happens.
Needless to say, I got a mite bit distracted.
That's not to say I haven't been writing. I'm (finally) taking classes again, but no matter how busy I seem to get because of it, I still find myself scribbling random verses on bits of scrap paper--such is the way things seem to go. Anyway, I'm editing a few of those now, and plan to post a few for you. Also, I think I need to start doing book reviews on here; somebody's started asking me about some of the stuff on my shelves (look left). So that'll all be coming up soon.
But now? Now is time for a glass of something stronger than apple juice, and a little light reading before bed. I've earned it. Trust me. ;)
